Homebirth Support

Holistic “With Woman” Support

Arianna Tomak— Christian doula serving Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina

Childbearing is a sacred, transformative journey. It is a metamorphosis. No woman remains unchanged through her experience, and her experience impacts her for life. Childbearing requires responsibility and intentionality throughout the entire process. It is not the time for busy-ness or ignorance. It is the time for nourishment, for preparation, for surrender. Some are called to traverse this journey alone, while others desire the support of a wise, nurturing woman to walk alongside them.

I believe childbearing is a natural, innate, physiological process that is as normal as our other physiological processes, such as breathing and digesting. I believe childbearing was designed by a wise Creator, who made no mistakes in His design. I believe childbearing is the time for intentional, holistic (whole-body) nourishment, and that this is true prenatal care. It is not the time for routine procedures, fearful medical providers, and a stifled spirit and intuition. It is the time for protective, wise, nurturing maternal instincts to awaken and flourish.

I answered the call to support women in their childbearing years five years ago after an incredible, transformative birth experience with my first baby. Since then, I’ve completed several trainings, immersed myself into studying physiological childbearing, and supported families in various capacities. Birthing and raising my children has been the most impactful training of all.

Are we the right fit?

Birth is a life changing experience, so it is crucial to choose the right birth attendants. I am not the right fit for every family and not every family is the right fit for me.

I serve families who:

  • are honest, trustworthy people of integrity
  • are intentionally choosing to birth at home
  • proactively nourish themselves holistically and strive to live as humans were designed to live
  • take full responsibility for their childbearing experience
  • understand every action they take is a conscious choice they have made
  • are forever students who desire to learn more and grow more
  • are not making undesired birth plans out of financial necessity
  • are seeking to hire a doula and are not hiring a doula as a less expensive alternative to midwifery care. I do not provide midwifery care.
  • are birthing within a 45 mile radius of Chesnee, SC. Travel farther than 45 miles will add a travel fee. Please see pricing below.

I may be the right fit for you if you desire:

  • Unwavering Support in Sacred Birth Space: Birth is a sacred rite of passage, and I am honored to walk beside you on this journey. I offer steady, intuitive support—helping you stay deeply connected to your body’s wisdom as you birth your baby.
  • To Honor Your Body’s Innate Design: Your body was made for this. I trust in the natural rhythms of birth and provide guidance that aligns with your intuition and physiology. Together, we create an environment where you feel safe, undisturbed, and free.
  • To Protect the Natural Flow of Birth: With gentle touch and a deep respect for undisturbed labor, I help create the conditions where birth unfolds as it was designed to. My presence often leads to fewer interventions, allowing your body to do what it was divinely created to do without unnecessary disruption.
  • Guidance For Your Partner: Birth is a journey for the whole family. I support not only you but also your partner, offering gentle guidance so they can show up fully present and engaged. Whether it’s providing advice on how to better support you or simply reassuring them, I help cultivate a space where everyone feels confident and connected.
  • A Nurtured Postpartum: The moments after birth are sacred and set the foundation for bonding and healing. I help you ease into this transition with breastfeeding support, nourishment, and gentle postpartum care—ensuring you are held in love and warmth as you step into motherhood. I also take care of the post-birth cleanup, allowing your family to rest and bond with your newest family member.
