Connection Over Convenience

December 29, 2024 by ariannatomak

When you sacrifice your intuition for convenience, you sacrifice the depth of your relationship with your child.

When you choose convenience over connection, you sacrifice the depth of your relationship with your child.

God designed everything in motherhood with purpose, beginning from conception.

Our baby’s need for us is purposeful. It is for their safety and for their growth. It changes with time.

In today’s society, there is so much emphasis placed on convenience that we’ve strayed from the original mothering design.

Preparation for motherhood has become materialistic, instead of spiritual, physical, mental and emotional.

Motherhood has been infiltrated with a bunch of counterintuitive guidelines, schedules, checklists, and interventions.

In result, motherhood often lacks the depths it was meant to have.

We lack the connection we were meant to have with our babies.

Baby items were created with convenience, NOT connection, in mind.

When we choose convenience, we sacrifice connection.

When we sacrifice connection, we sacrifice the depth of our relationship with our child.

What you need to be the best mother: only you and your baby.

What your baby needs to thrive: only you.

God’s design may be inconvenient in today’s society but the further we stray from it, the further we get from

Less is more with baby products. They really don’t need much. Remember, most products are created to mimic you and to replace you. Baby products can never replace your arms, your voice, your eyes, your smell. You are irreplaceable. The less you have, the more you have of your baby.
